DroidCloud was one of the top 10 startups selected to demo at UnPluggd, India’s largest startup event on the 19th of Novemeber 2011. The event was held in Pune, India.

The event start-ups represent different categories like Cloud based infrastructure, Enterprise, Embedded Systems, LBS, Internet and of course, Android.

We had really great experience and also enjoyed great speakers at event.

Team at UnPluggd

PuneConnect 2011 was an event held by Pune’s top tech communities – SEAP(Software Experts Association, Pune) and startup communites – POCC and TIE Pune. This event was organised to mix Pune’s startups with Pune’s established companies.

12 Pune technology startups were chosen from about 30 applicants to showcase their products at PuneConnect 2011. DroidCloud was one the top 12 chosen for the event.  There was huge presence of startup community and enthusiast at the PuneConnect.

Out of top 12 chosen for the event, 4 startups were chosen based on votes from TIE community members and SEAP members. DroidCloud was also voted in top 4 startups. These four startups will get a chance to present at upcoming Advantage Pune conference.

From those top 12 startups, ET Now also selected 4 startups including DroidCloud, for ET Now’s Starting Up show. These four startups got a chance to pitch in front of panel consisting of Nickhil Jakatdar, Gaurag Mehra, and Suhas Kelkar on a program recorded by ETNow to be televised nationally later.
